What’s the best part about WrestleMania week?
While NXT superstar getting called up to the main roster the night after WrestleMania would have to a close second, it is still one of the best and post exciting parts for fans. Not only is this a chance for WWE to capitalize on a few dream matches for fans, it also allows WWE to once again focus on younger talents and allowing them to make a name for themselves. With that being said, one popular NXT superstar, who was originally rumored for a call up at WrestleMania 33 to compete in a title match, will now be spending a few more months in NXT instead.
According to Cagesideseats.com,” WWE is apparently planning multiple main roster call ups from NXT just after WrestleMania 33, with Shinsuke Nakamura and Elias Samson mentioned most. Asuka may not be in this wave, however.” Of course things can always change and Asuka could be added into the woman’s title open challenge match at WrestleMania 33, but if she doesn’t it could be a good indicator of just how much longer that Asuka could be down in NXT.
