Baron Corbin, The New Day, Goldberg, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho and Bruan Strowman have all announced their entry into The Annual Royal Rumble match and now it appears that Seth Rollins has as well. The former WWE Champion and Shield member announced his entry into The Royal Rumble on Twitter today and even claimed that he would be the one to main event WrestleMania 33 in the spring. What makes this announcement even more suprising is the fact that it conflicts with the storyline of Rollins going up against Triple H at The Show of Shows in Orlando.
Sure, Seth and Triple H could still very well face off and there’s no reason to exclude the possibility completely, but it looks like WWE might be looking in a new direction here with Rollin’s entry into The Royal Rumble. This news along with previous reports that Triple H is not even scheduled to appear at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando at this point in time, sends a strong message that WWE is scrapping the previous storyline idea and might be putting the architect in the title picture against his former ally instead.
