Want to hear something crazy man?
Apparently, WWE is finally coming to the realization that The WWE Universe is extremely upset with Roman Reigns defeating The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33 and the only thing they can think to do is keep him off television for awhile and hope things die down. Unfortunately for WWE, it doesn’t always work like that, especially if the man you want to be the next John Cena, defeats The Undertaker, and WWE is only killing time at best by holding off on his return after Extreme Rules.
What’s interesting here is that Allwrestlingnews.com reported last week that a few of their contributors attended Raw last week and the crowd’s response to Roman Reigns was a lot worse than usual. In fact, the booing was said to be so bad and audible throughout the entire arena that WWE was forced to edit the crowd noise before allowing it to play. With that being said, and Roman Reign’s absence from Monday Night Raw this week, it is very obvious that WWE is trying to rework Roman Reigns’ image and hope the heat dies down in the process.
