Five WWE News Stories You May Have Missed This Week

Reason why Brock Lesnar no showed Monday Night Raw

What happened to Brock Lesnar on Monday Night Raw?

Brock Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman tweeted out that The Universal Champion would confront the winner of The number one contender’s match at Elimination Chamber, but Lesnar ended up no showing for one reason or another. In fact, Roman Reigns, who ended up winning The Elimination Chamber match after decimating Strowman with a timely spear, told fans that WWE didn’t want him to say anything about it, which only added to the intrigue of it all.

According to’s rumor roundup, “While there’s still no reporting on the nature of Brock Lesnar’s absence, there is talk from WrestleVotes of portions of last night’s Raw being re-written “very late”. With that being said, this could either mean that the plan was changed late due to fear of what the reaction would be to Roman Reigns facing Lesnar again, or due to Lesnar walking out on WWE before Raw went on the air

Interestingly enough, According to,”There is a chance that Lesnar could have skipped RAW as a hardline way of negotiating with WWE as his contract with the company is set to expire shortly after WrestleMania 34. WWE could have also been upset with Lesnar for the photo he had taken with White and told him not to come to the show. Both of these theories are speculation at this point.

In the end, its really not hard to imagine Lesnar walking out on the company, especially since the beast has arguably nothing to loss by doing so and it will be truely must watch television to see what WWE does in the coming weeks with the storyline. It will also be interesting to see if Brock Lesnar shows up for WrestleMania 34, which is being called into question as well.
